AT&T carrier has released new update for Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners in USA. It includes the July 1 2017 android security patch update for both handsets. The firmware for galaxy s8 carries the new version G950USQS1AQG1 and the update size will be in 137 MB. Next one the galaxy s8+ it will receive the update as G955USQS1AQG1 and the download weighs in 133 MB.

AT&T has also updated the changelog at the support page of S8 and S8+. The changelog clearly mentions it will just install the security patch only. Apart from this it may also tweak the device performance and other bug fixes. The software update has already started to hit S8 and S8+ handsets via OTA. If you own this device then initiate the manual update from Settings menu.
