After rolled out January security patches last month, Samsung begins to push February month android patch for their unlocked galaxy devices. The following mobiles are now receiving this security update – Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy A8 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016). The company rolled out this firmware update through OTA. The build number for Galaxy A8 and J5 (2016) and comes in A810FXXU1AQA2 and J510MNUBU2AQA5.

 For Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge the build number of this update will be G920FXXU5DQAJ and G925FXXU5DQAJ. The software may also include performance tweaks, stability improvements and other bug fixes. If you notice that all these Samsung devices were running on android marshmallow os. Till now the company didn’t officially announced Nougat 7.0 update for these smartphones. But we can expect the Nougat update roll out within this year.
