Samsung has begun to roll out new software update for Galaxy S9+ dual sim variants. This latest update adds most expected Dual VoLTE/VoWiFi support and native call recording to this flagship handset. The call recording feature also allows the user to specify the storage location (i.e. internal or external) to save the recorded audio.
The report also claims that this firmware update is now available for download in Indian region. Along with this feature, the firmware update also carries latest android security patch, improves the device stability, performance tweak and other bug fixes. This firmware update for Galaxy S9+ brings new software version G965FXXU1BRE5 and also weighs in 426.25 MB.
The screenshot also reveals the Samsung rolling out this software update in batch-wise via OTA. Users who are having Galaxy S9+ dual sim models are eligible for this OTA update. The automatic OTA update will take some time or even days to land on all devices. You can also manually check for the software update from Settings menu, to know whether the update is available in your region or not.
