Verizon popular carrier in U.S has released new software update for Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus handsets. This firmware bundle carries July security patch and some optimizations for these devices. The galaxy note 5 owners will receive this update as N920VVRU3CQF3. The software version for S6 Edge+ users will be in G928VVRU3CQF3. The carrier has posted the full changelog at the support page of both devices.

According to changelog, the new update for Note 5 and S6 Edge+ includes –

• Wifi calling improvements – It will fix the voice call drop issues over wifi network

• It allows the users to add Google search app in easy mode

• It will show the notification if there is now space to add app shortcuts or widgets on home screen

These are the list of changes that has been mentioned by the carrier. This software update will be available to download as OTA. The update notification may land on your handsets any time. To download the update manually head into Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for updates.
