T-Mobile has begins to roll out the latest android marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge handsets. The official change logs for these mobiles are also updated by the t-mobile carrier at the support page. The firmware update for note 4 and note edge handsets are available to download from June 27. Always connect your handset to WiFi network to get the latest software update notification.

For galaxy note 4 the firmware will be available for two software versions N910TUVU2DPE3 and N910T3UVU1DPE3. But the download sizes for both versions are same 1.51GB (1506.66 MB). The screenshot of marshmallow update has also posted in third party site. The software update for note 4 includes new TouchWiz UI, doze mode, advanced app permissions, quick connect option, enhanced fingerprint security, new vibration pattern and more features. The note 4 support page also mentions Anti-theft (N910T3UVU1DPE3) and Google voice fix (N910TUVU2DPE3) improvements.

The carrier also rolled out this marshmallow update to note edge users. The baseband version for this model will be N915TUVU2CPE3. The software update will be in 1.52GB size for note edge device. The carrier didn’t release the improvements list for this handset. Like note 4 it may also comes with doze mode, enhanced app permissions, new TouchWiz UI, Google Now on Tap, bug fixes and more improvements.

Both note 4 and note edge mobile users will receive this software update through OTA. The users can also install the marshmallow update using PC. For that they need to download and install the Smart Switch or Samsung Kies PC suite on their system. If you already installed connect your device to PC using data cable and follow the instructions that shown on your computer screen.
