Samsung has started to push Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Galaxy C9 Pro Indian variant. This handset was first announced on October 2016 which equipped with android 6.0 marshmallow os. After a year, they’ve released the nougat update for this handset. The nougat for Galaxy C9 Pro brings several new features like Samsung Experience 8.5, Samsung Cloud integration, redesigned Device Manager, enhanced AOD, new Samsung Pass, included camera zoom with shitter option and more.
Compared to previous build, you can experience the faster and smoother response in latest Samsung Experience 8.5 UI skin. The software version for this device will come as C900FDDU1BQK1. As expected the update file weighs in large 1.4GB (1401.36 MB). Samsung is now seeding this nougat build via OTA in phases. Mostly the OTA roll out will take more time to reach the handset. Suppose the nougat firmware is available for your device, you will be notified with a prompt.
You can also manually check for the update whether it is available for your device or not. To perform the manual update from just go to Settings > About device > Download Updates Manually.
