Samsung officially rolling out Nougat 7.0 update for Galaxy A3 (2016) first generation smartphone. Right now the nougat firmware is live for Germany users. For German units the new update will come as A310FXXU3CQE6. The screenshot reveals the download size will come around 950 MB. It also carries the latest android security patch for this device.

Nougat for galaxy a3 (2016) includes redesigned UX, split window, enhanced notification features, editable quick settings icons, data saver mode, performance optimizations, bug fixes and more. Samsung is now pushing this software update in regular OTA. To check for manual update go to Settings > About device > Software update and tap Download update manually option. If you received the update prompt you can install it now or scheduled to later. Soon the company will expand this nougat roll out to other regions.
