Few days back, Samsung has released November security patch for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners. Now this security update has started to hit Canadian versions of Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+. For S6 Edge+, Canada will be the first region to receive this November month update. Canadian carries like Bell, Telus, SaskTel and Virgin Mobile are now pushing this security firmware.

The galaxy s6 and s6 edge will receive the security update in the following build numbers G920W8VLS5DQK1 and G925W8VLS5DQK1. While the build number for galaxy s6 edge+ will be in G928W8VLS4CQK1. This November update carries the patch for 61 vulnerabilities in Android, Six fixes in Samsung and fixes the KRACK WiFi security issue.

Samsung will roll out this security software update in phases via OTA. You can wait for automatic OTA or manually check for the updates. To perform manual update just go to Settings menu and tap software update option.
