After lots of rumors and leaks, Samsung has finally revealed its new Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ flagship smartphones. To cover mid-range users Samsung has planned to launch these two handsets under mid-range price. Like Galaxy A8 series, these new A6 range smartphones also uses Samsung’s Infinity display and Bixby assistant (Vision, Home and Reminder). These features are now available on premium Galaxy S series smartphones only.

Talking about design, these handset houses sleek metal body with soft sandstone pattern finish back. Samsung has also enabled the Samsung Pay option to make the cashless payment easier and secure. The company didn’t pricing of these two mobiles, but they’ve revealed the availability. The following markets like Europe, Asia and Latin America will get these Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus handsets in this May 2018. After that Samsung will expand these handsets to South Korea, Africa and China regions.

The galaxy a6 features 5.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1480) Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz octa core processor, 16MP single back camera with LED flash, 16MP front camera with LED flash and packed with 3000 mAh battery.

While the galaxy a6+ arrives with upgraded 6-inch FHD+ (2220 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, 1.8 GHz octa core processor (unknown chipset), 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera with live focus and 24MP selfie camera. They’ve also the upgraded the battery capacity of this device to 3500 mAh.

Apart from these changes, other hardware features are identical for both handsets –18.5:9 screen aspect ratio, Always-On Display, android 8.0 oreo os, 3GB/4GB Ram, 32GB/64GB internal storage, dedicated microSD card slot (256GB), fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual band wifi, bluetooth 4.2, Micro USB, 4G LTE (Cat6 speed), NFC and more are there.

Both Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus smartphones will release in four optional colors – Black, Blue, Gold and Lavender.
