Samsung mobile has officially unveiled the successor versions of Galaxy A series smartphones named as Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016). Compared to its predecessors the hardware features are upgraded in new Galaxy A (2016) editions. The highlight is it also uses the same metal unibody design. Initially Samsung will roll out the 2016 editions of A3, A5 and A7 on mid-December 2015 in china. It may also reach global markets in Q1 of 2016. They will announce the price of these smartphone at official launch.

The galaxy a3 (2016) has 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (720p) screen resolution. It comes with android 5.1 lollipop os, 1.5GB RAM, 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 16GB internal storage and microSD (up to 128GB). It houses 13MP back camera with single led flash and 5MP selfie camera. It comes with single or dual sim slot, wifi, nfc, bluetooth 4.1, samsung KNOX, ANT+ and more features. It has 2300 mAh non-removable battery with moderate browsing and usage time.

The galaxy a5 (2016) has upgraded 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD (1080p) resolution. They also upgraded the processor and RAM to 1.6 GHz octa core (8-cores) and 2GB RAM. It retains the 16GB internal storage and expandable microSD slot. It also has same 13MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. Additionally it has fingerprint sensor with Samsung Pay feature support. It equipped with 2900 mAh built-in battery which include fast charging feature.

The galaxy a7 (2016) comes with 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) display, 3GB RAM, 3300 mAh battery with fast charge feature. Other features of A7 (2016) are similar to A5 (2016) like android 5.1 lollipop os, single or dual sim slot, 1.6 GHz octa core processor, 16GB internal storage, 13MP back camera, 5MP front camera, microSD card slot and fingerprint sensor with Samsung Pay feature.
