Author: MobileGizmo-Team , Date : 03-December-2018

Back in October, Samsung has introduced new Infinity display series like Infinity-U, Infinity-V and Infinity-O though a launch event in China. They’ve also teased the arrival of Galaxy A8s and that could be the first device to use the new Infinity display. Followed by this announcement, this handset has been spotted in real-time leaks and FCC certification on last month. On the hand Huawei has also planned to unveil the In-display hole design (like Galaxy A8s) on December 17 in China.

But it looks like Samsung wants to be the first to bring the in-display camera hole device, so they’ve scheduled an event in China on December 10 to introduce the Galaxy A8s handset. In 2019, every manufacturer will focus on this in-display hole design, so it could be the trending design in the upcoming year. As per the FCC, this handset will sport 19.5:9 aspect ratio which means the screen will cover the front part and it will turn the device to bezel-less.

Galaxy A8s Launch Date Confirmed

Based on the previous leaks, the Galaxy A8s to feature 6.3-inch display with FHD+ screen resolution, the hole for camera located on the top left corner and front portion will be covered by 2.5D curved glass. The report suggest, this handset will arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and octa core processor. It may release with Android 8.0 Oreo as pre-installed OS, later they may release the Android Pie update for this device. Talking about memory, it may come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, you can further expand the storage via microSD card up to 512GB.

Some rumors suggest this handset will use triple cameras on rear like Galaxy A7 (2018), if it’s true we can expect 24MP + 10MP + 5MP on the back. It may also use the same 24MP selfie camera at the front. There is no word about battery, but we can expect this handset may equipped with 3400 mAh battery and it can support fast charging technology. We want to wait until December 10, to know that the above mention specs are true or not. Also this new Infinity-O display equipped device could not be available to buy for cheaper. Rumors also suggest, Samsung will use this same display on the upcoming Galaxy S10 successor device in 2019.
