For the past few weeks, you may have seen the many rumors about the Samsung quad rear camera phone. Some users have said this will launch as Galaxy A9 Star Pro and another one called as Galaxy A9s. Today Samsung had breakdown all those rumors and officially introduced this handset in the name Galaxy A9 (2018). They’ve presented this premium mobile through a live launching event. Samsung also revealed the pricing and availability of this flagship smartphone in this event.

Specs:

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features 6.3-inch bigger Super AMOLED display with FHD+ (18.5:9 ratio)  screen. It will release with android oreo os, later they may roll out the Android 9.0 Pie upgrade for this device. Performance wise, it sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and octa core processor. This handset arrives in two variants 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB, both models have dedicated microSD card slot (expandable up to 512GB).

Moving to highlight part (i.e. camera), this device have four rear cameras 24MP + 10MP + 8MP + 5MP. Each cameras have different behaviors like 120 degree ultra wide (8MP), telephoto with 2x optical zoom (10MP), clear & bright (24MP) and depth camera with live focus (5MP). It also has 24MP selfie camera that can opt the users to shot perfect selfies.

Connectivity and other preloaded features are Fingerprint, NFC, WiFi with VHT80 MIMO, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Galileo for GPS, Bixby, Samsung Pay and so on. Coming to power section, it has 3800 mAh non-removable battery that compatible with adaptive fast charging technology.

Pricing:

Samsung didn’t disclose the price for both models, but they have revealed the starting price of Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) as €599 euros (£549 pounds / 39990 russian rubles). It will launch in three colors Caviar Black, Bubblegum Pink and Lemonade Blue. Samsung will start the roll out of this handset from November 2018 onwards.
