Samsung China has officially introduced new Galaxy C Series with two flagship smartphones – Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7. The company has unveiled these mobiles at a live event on Beijing, China. Like A series it also comes with slim design and metal body finish. Initially Samsung will release this Galaxy C range of mobiles in China from June 2016. Later the company will announce the global roll out these handsets.

The galaxy c5 has 5.2-inch with Full HD (1080p) resolution while the galaxy c7 has bigger 5.7-inch display and also retains the same FHD (1080p) resolution. The galaxy c5 comes with 1.5 GHz octa core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset. But the C7 has upgraded 2GHz octa core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 625 chipset. The battery capacity for galaxy c5 is 2600 mAh where the galaxy c7 houses larger battery capacity 3300 mAh.  

Apart from these changes other features are common for both smartphones like hybrid dual sim slot, android 6.0.1 marshmallow os, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage models, microSD card (uses second sim slot), 16MP back camera with F1.9 aperture and 8MP front/selfie camera with f1.9 aperture. The connectivity features for both galaxy c5 and c7 handsets are fingerprint sensor, Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, ANT+, 4G LTE, micro USB 2.0 and GPS. Both models have Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. It will be available in four colors Silver, Rose gold, Gold and Grey.

Samsung has priced the 32GB and 64GB storage models of Galaxy C5 smartphone at 2199 Yuan ($335 USD) and 2399 Yuan ($366 USD). This handset is already up for preorder at online retailers of China. The retailers will conduct first sale of galaxy c5 mobile on June 17.

While the Galaxy C7 storage variants 32GB and 64GB will be available for the price of 2599 Yuan ($396 USD) and 2799 Yuan ($427 USD). The manufacturer didn’t reveal the release date of galaxy C7 mobile for china.
