Sprint wireless has scheduled to announce a new Samsung J series mobile on January 6 for USA. The new smartphone will be named as Galaxy J3 Emerge, successor of J3 (2016). The report suggests Galaxy J3 Emerge is the rebranded version of upcoming Galaxy J3 (2017) mobile. It will also land on Sprint’s prepaid mobile networks - Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA. The pricing and launch details will reveal later.

The leak reveals the full specs of Galaxy J3 Emerge and will launch for mid-range price. The j3 emerge has 5-inch HD (720p) display with 2.5D curved glass finish on front. It pre-installed with android 6.0 marshmallow os, later it may get android 7.0 nougat update. It comes with upgraded chipset & processor - Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 and Octa Core processor. Compared to J3 (2016), the storage and RAM options in Galaxy J3 Emerge are bumped to 2GB and 16GB. Still the device support microSD card to expand the memory. It has 5MP back camera with 720p video recording and 2MP front camera. The battery capacity retains the same like its predecessor 2600 mAh.
