After all rumors, Today Samsung has officially adds two new smartphones in its Galaxy J series for Indian market. These new arrivals are named as Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8. The manufacturer has also revealed the price and availability of these handsets for India. From tomorrow onwards (i.e. May 22), the galaxy j6 will go for sale in India via flipkart online retailer.

The launch price of galaxy j6 in India will be Rs.13,990 (3GB) and Rs. 16,490 (4GB). While the Galaxy J8 model will go for sale from June 20 and the selling price of this device in Indian market is Rs.18,990.

Samsung Galaxy J6 specs:

The galaxy j6 features 5.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1480) Super AMOLED display, Infinity display and 18.5:9 aspect screen ratio. It runs on android 8.0 oreo os, 1.6 GHz octa core processor and Samsung’s Exynos 7870 chipset. It will be available in two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both variants support expandable memory via microSD card (up to 256GB).

At back it has 13MP single main camera lens with F1.9 aperture and at front it has 8MP selfie camera which also has same F1.9 aperture. It comes with face unlock and fingerprint key (back-mounted) to improve the device security. It fueled with 3000 mAh embedded battery and offers 21 hrs of talk time. The available color options are black, blue and gold.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Specs:

On the other hand, the upgraded version galaxy j8 comes with 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, Samsung infinity display and android 8.0 oreo os. Talking about performance, it equipped with Qualcomm snapdragon 450 chipset and 1.8 GHz octa core processor. Unlike galaxy j6, this device will be available in single variant - 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Further the user can expand the memory up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

This handset comes with dual rear camera lens 16MP + 5MP and at front it has 16MP upgraded selfie camera. It also has fingerprint sensor and face unlock security features which strong the security of this device further more. Finally coming to power, it packed with 3500 mAh built-in battery and support fast charging technology. It will also release in three color options black, blue and gold.
