Starting of this week, Samsung has introduced two new smartphones in ‘Galaxy M’ series to Indian market and named it as Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. The release date of these two handsets are scheduled on Feb 5 and it will be amazon exclusive. Before the official release, these handsets are started to receive its first software update which includes latest security patch, enhancements and bug fixes.
For Galax M10 the update comes with new software version M105FDDU1ASA7 and the download size will be in 64.74 MB. The Galaxy M20 will receive this the update with the following software version M205FDDU1ASA9, but it weighs around 102 MB. This latest firmware will bump the security patch level of both handsets to January 1 2019. Apart from this security update, it will also perform bug fixes and system stability enhancements.
The screenshot confirms that the software update will arrive for Galaxy M range as OTA. You can either use WiFi or mobile data connection to download this OTA update. Sometimes the OTA roll out will take time to reach all devices, so stay calm and wait for the automatic notification.
Samsung begins their 2019 with all new Galaxy M series which features new Infinity-V display, dual back cameras and massive battery. This could be the greatest launch for Samsung in its 2019 milestone.
