Samsung officially announced their first Quad HD smartphone Galaxy S5 LTE-A G906 in South Korea. The device will come with SKT carrier network support which is available in South Korea. It includes similar features of Galaxy S5 like water and dust resistant, finger print sensor, Heart rate sensor, ultra power saving mode, private mode, download booster etc. The galaxy S5 LTE-A has 5.1 inch display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, 2.5 quad core Krait 450 processor and LTE-A network. The device comes with newly launched Qualcomm snapdragon 805 chipset and Adreno 420 GPU. It has 3 GB RAM which will enhance the performance of the device. It has 32 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via SD card slot. Like Galaxy S5 it also has 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 2.1 Megapixel front camera, NFC, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, IR Sensor, GPS and more. The LTE-A network enables faster internet browsing, 225 Mbps downloading speed and more advanced networking features. It also has 2800 mAh battery capacity which will provide enough browsing and usage time. This device will be available from June 19 with SK Telecom carrier support. Later they will release this device to other carriers of South Korea like LG U+ and KT in July 2014. The global release date of this device has not been announced by Samsung.
