As we all know Samsung is getting ready to launch their new Galaxy S8 Active rugged smartphone in U.S. It’s the successor of S7 Active which released in 2016 for AT&T. Like that the S8 Active will also launch as AT&T exclusive. Recently you may have also spotted the live images of this handset. Today we came up with new poster leak that completely reveals the specs of upcoming S8 Active.

As per the leak, the s8 active will feature 5.8-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD+ (2960 x 1440) infinity edge display, just like S8. The front part of mobile will be covered with corning gorilla glass 5th gen. The active model sports durable metal body certified by MIL-STD-810G and IP68 water resistant design. It runs on android 7.0 nougat os with custom TouchWiz UI.

Coming to performance, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and octa core processor. The leaked image affirms it will come with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and an expandable microSD slot (up to 256GB). The camera options are similar to S8, 12MP dual pixel back camera and 8MP selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor has been mounted at the back side (next to main camera).

Also Samsung has added the Bixby button (instead of active key) that includes multiple features like reminders, activity zone, quick access to apps etc. Connectivity options will be NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5, USB 3.1, MST and more. The S8 Active comes with upgraded battery 4000 mAh that even support fast wireless charging technology. It will launch in two colors Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold.

Sadly the image render didn’t mention the price and launch date. But surely the official launch may happen in next month (August) starting or later. Don’t expect this mobile outside of U.S it will be launch as AT&T exclusive only.
