Samsung has provided the jelly bean update for its older devices continuously. Samsung has rolled out the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update to Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The update will be available through OTA (over-the-air). The update is available for Austria users. The update will be available soon for other regions.

The device was initially launched with Android 3.2 Honey crumb Operating System in 2011. The device Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update was rolled out for the device in July 2011.  Now the 4.1.2 Jelly bean update has rolled out this year.

Samsung will be pushing this update to other regions in the upcoming weeks. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean update brings new features like smoother user interface, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Pop Up Play, improved stock Browser, operation modes, better widgets, enhanced graphic capabilities, Google Now, multitasking features to the device. Update also provides interface improvements and speed enhancements.
