South Korean manufacturer Samsung announced the fourth generation GALAXY S 4 on March 14, 2013 in New York, USA. The Samsung Galaxy S 4 will launch at the end of Apriland come to the 327 carriers in 155 countries. Galaxy S4 comes on most of the US carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, Cricket and US Cellular.

GALAXY S 4, Samsung is again going to enhance the way we live,” said JK Shin, President and Head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung. “All the innovative features of GALAXY S 4 were developed based on the insights and needs we found from our consumers all around the world.”

 Samsung Galaxy S4 features 4.99 inch display, Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 441ppi pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S 4 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. There's Sound and Shot, which captures 9 second clips with sound, Drama Shot, which captures a burst of photos and combines them into a single image. The Samsung Galaxy S 4 comes with two colors White Frost and Black Mist.

Samsung has features S Translator that works with email and ChatON. It can translate all major languages. Smart Pause pauses the video you're watching when detects that your eyes are away from the screen.  The device also supports applications like Air View, Samsung Optical Reader, S Voice™ Drive.

The device will come in two versions one with Snapdragon 600 chip and another with Exynos 5 Octa chipset with quad-core Cortex-A15 and quad-core Cortex-A7 combo. Both versions will offer LTE connectivity and 2GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S IV will feature a 13 MP camera with 2.1MP Front camera features that involve eye-tracking and hand-tracking. The weight of the device is 130g and the battery capacity is 2600mAh. The device will come with three internal memory 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Galaxy S 4 also has the feature of IR blaster that can be used as a remote control with your TV and various other home appliances.
