Samsung’s latest flagship mobiles Galaxy S8 & S8+ are now receiving a software update. The firmware carries the April month security patch and fix for Bixby remapping bug. For Galaxy S8 the update will hit as G950FXXU1AQDD. The s8 plus model will get this update with build number G955FXXU1AQDD.

Samsung introduced their new Bixby assistant with Galaxy S8 series. But somehow the Bixby button came with remapping bug i.e. the button functionality can be assigned to access Google Assistant. Now Samsung fixes this remapping bug with this latest software update. Without rooting the device users cannot remap the Bixby button. The new OTA update will roll out to Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users in the upcoming weeks. If you received the handset earlier from Samsung then check for OTA update.
