Earlier T-Mobile rolled out Nougat 7.0 beta update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users of T-Mobile via Android Beta program. Now the carrier released the official version of Nougat update for both handsets. Beta testers will receive this software update first via FOTA. The users who got the Nougat update notification posted the screenshot on forums. Initially the nougat os upgrade rolled out for Galaxy S7 Edge. Soon the firmware update will also reach galaxy s7 device. The update size of s7 edge is 116.64MB and also brings new version G935TUVU4BQB1.

The latest software update includes android 7.0 os upgrade, new UX, February 2017 security patch, enhanced quick settings button & notification, new Samsung pass feature, improved AOD, space freed for new apps and more. After upgrade some apps will not work or compatible with latest os. To fix this issue the user must update the apps to newer version.

If you’re having t-mobile galaxy s7 series then you’ll receive the software update notification via OTA. You can also check for update from Settings > Software update > Software manual download. After completed the installation, verify the android version (7.0) from About Device in Settings Menu.
