A month old Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ unlocked units are begun to receive new software in US. This firmware roll out has been confirmed by the two Reddit users, as well as shared the screenshot of this update on their forum page. Both users have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 powered Galaxy S10 and S10+ units. For Galaxy S10 the update arrives with new build number G973U1UEU1ASD3 and it weighs around 567.24 MB. While the build number for S10+ device come as G975U1UEU1ASD3 and the download size of this update will be in 578.92 MB.
The screenshot didn’t disclose much information about the changelog, but the users who installed this software update has reported it tweaks the performance of fingerprint sensor and camera. The latest build will solve the fingerprint related issues that was spotted in previous build. Along with these features, the update also brings March month android security patch for both handsets.
US unlocked Galaxy S10 and S10+ handsets will receive this software update via OTA in stages. The phase roll out will take few days to reach both devices, if you own this handset connect to wifi network and wait for the OTA update. If you don’t have patience to wait, then tap the Settings menu and check for updates manually from System update.
