Just an hour ago, Sony has officially started the Android 8.0 Oreo roll out for Xperia XZ Premium. They’ve also confirmed this firmware update on their official blog. The software version for xperia xz premium will arrive as 47.1.A.3.254. This Oreo update weighs in large size 1290.2 MB. It’s now live more regions and some users have updated their devices to Oreo.

Sony has published the full changelog of this software update. Following are the lists of new features that are included in Android Oreo:

3D Creator: This feature will let you to create 3D avatar in less than 60 seconds by scanning the face, head or any objects. You can also share this file in social medias.

Predictive Capture: Once it detects the smile it will automatically initiate the image buffer even you didn’t press the shutter key. You can also select the best smile moments from the four shots.

Autofocus Burst: It offers the users to capture blur-free sequence images on moving objects.

Improved Sound Quality: The update will tweak the stereo speakers for better sounds. It also optimizes the Qualcomm aptX HD audio to deliver high quality sound on wireless headphones.

App Shortcuts: It adds long press options to app icons to access action menus.

As you know, the software update will roll out as OTA in phases. Depends on your network operator the latest update will be available for your device. You can also check for the manual update from Settings menu. Also don’t forget to charge your battery and use recommended connection for download.
