Sony begins to send out new software update for xperia xa mobile users. The latest firmware update carries January 2017 security patch for this device. The update arrives in two build versions 33.2.A.4.70 for single sim models (F3111, F3113, F3115) and 33.2.B.4.70 for dual sim versions (F3112, F3116). This software update is now available to download in selected regions only. However Sony didn’t enclose any changelog and official press release about this update.

Sony pushing this new security patch update through OTA. It will take some time to reach all xperia xa smartphones. You can also manually check for this update from settings menu. If the firmware is available in your region download and install it immediately. Soon the company will release the Nougat version upgrade for this mobile.
