Just a day back Sony has released May security patch for Xperia XZs smartphone. Now the company expanded this security patch to other Xperia X range of mobiles. Following four devices are now getting the May security update – Xperia X, Xperia XZ, Xperia X Performance and X Compact.

The software update for Xperia XZ and X Performance will hit with new build number 41.2.A.2.223. Other two handsets like Xperia X and Xperia X Compact build number will be bumped to 34.2.A.2.69. The latest firmware will update only the security patch level for all devices. Sony didn’t specify any changes in their release notes. Sony fans who is holding the above mentioned devices can check for software update. If the OTA is available in your region then download and install it.
