As planned, Today Xiaomi has unveiled its first gaming focused smartphone under its sub-brand for Chinese market. They have called this handset as ‘Black Shark’. This handset is especially designed for gamers who love to play high graphics games. While playing games on smartphones it will generate more heat, which results in battery drain. To avoid this heating issue they’ve added true liquid cooling system, this will straight down the temperature to 8 degree celsius.

Xiaomi totally revamped the design of handset (Black Shark) which is more attractive and compact. This handset comes with a dedicated shark key that will act like a boost and improves the game play performance. Along with this device, the brand has announced the detachable BlackShark Gamepad accessory which will be sold separately.

The Blackshark handset is now available for preorder in China via JD.com retailer. This listing has revealed the price and exact release date of this handset. The launch price of Black Shark gaming phone in China is 2999 yuan (Rs. 31,140) for 6GB + 64GB and 3499 yuan (Rs. 36,330) for 8GB + 128GB. Both handsets will go for sale in China from April 20. The price of Gamepad accessory will be 179 yuan (Rs. 1,860).

The blackshark handset features 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS display with 18:9 Fullview screen. It equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 high-end chipset and 2.8 GHz octa core processor. By default the device will be pre-installed with android 8.1 oreo os. It arrives in two memory variants – 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB. It uses LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage technologies to deliver the faster performance.

Because of having vast amount storage, they didn’t add the expandable storage slot. Coming to camera, it houses 12MP + 20MP dual rear camera lens that support 4K video recording, PDAF focus, F1.75 aperture and more. At front it has 20MP selfie camera lens which can shot perfect selfies.

Connectivity options are Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, 2x2 MIMO, fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE with 3x carrier aggregation, dual nano sim slot, Type-C USB and more. Talking about power, it fueled with 4000 mAh built-in battery and support Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It will be available in two colors polar black and sky grey.
