Xiaomi Black Shark Helo goes official with 10GB RAM

Followed by the success of Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Phone, Today the company has introduced new successor smartphone in China and named as Black Shark Helo. It’s the first smartphone in the world that comes with 10GB RAM. Compared to its predecessor, they had done more improvements in design, camera and hardware sections. At this event Xiaomi has also revealed the pricing and availability of this handset for Chinese market.

Specs:

Xiaomi Black Shark Helo features 6.01-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be pre-installed with android 8.1 oreo os and uses custom Joy UI on top. Performance wise, it equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and 2.8 GHz octa core processor. This handset arrives in three variants 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 10GB RAM + 256GB storage. As the internal memory is vast so they’ve truncated the expandable storage slot.

At back it has dual cameras 12MP + 20MP that features dual f/1.75 aperture, 4K video recording, PDAF focus, slow motion video (1080p @ 120 fps) and more. At front it has 20MP single selfie camera lens with that you can shot perfect and clear selfies.

Stepping down to the main camera, they’ve placed the fingerprint key to unlock your device faster and secure. Xiaomi has added new RGB logo (16.8 million color) with lightning effects, it uses AI feature that will randomly change the color based on game. Like its predecessor, it also two-stage SHARK key button to improve the game play faster and smoother.

Other preloaded features are WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, dual front mounted speakers, 4G VoLTE, dual liquid cooling pipe system, dual sim slot and so on. It packed with 4000 mAh battery that compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Pricing:

Right now this handset is up for preorder in China at Black Shark official mall and they’ve mentioned the release date as October 30. The launch price of this device in China will be 3199 yuan / Rs. 33,920 (6GB + 128GB), 3499 yuan / Rs. 37,100 (8GB + 128GB) and 4199 yuan / Rs. 44,520 (10GB + 256GB)
