Today Xiaomi debut its most expected flagship smartphone Mi 6 at a live event in China. It’s the successor version Mi 5s which was released in September 2016. This time Xiaomi fully focused on camera, design and performance on their latest flagship mobile. For now the company announced this handset for Chinese market. The global launch details will be announced in the upcoming months.

Xiaomi also revealed the pricing and availability of Mi 6 at this event. The price of 6GB + 64GB storage will be 2499 Yuan ($363 USD / 23,420 INR) while 6GB + 128GB model will launch for 2899 Yuan ($421 USD / 27,170 INR). The ceramic body edition with 6GB + 128GB storage will be available for 2999 Yuan ($435 USD / 28,100 INR).

The Mi 6 features 5.15-inch Full HD (1080p) display with blue light filter and 1-nits ultra dark night mode for readers. Let’s talking about the performance it houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 high-end chipset and 2.45 GHz octa core processor. By default it comes with android 7.1 nougat os and MIUI 8. It will be avaible in two storage variants – 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Optionally it also comes in ceramic body version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

At back it has dual camera lens (12MP+12MP) which will be major highlight of this device. The back camera includes 4K video recording, 4-Axis OIS Sensor, PDAF sensor, Slow Motion Video and more features. There’s also 8MP front camera for selfie lovers. Like its predecessor it also has under glass fingerprint sensor with payment support. Other features are NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, Type-C USB, 3xCA support, 4G LTE (600 Mbps) and more. It doesn’t include 3.5mm headphone port instead of it sports Type-C port for lossless audio.

Coming to power source it packed with 3350 mAh which support Quick Charge 3.0. Xiaomi Mi 6 arrives in more color options like black, blue, white, ceramic black and shiny silver edition. It will bring for its first sale in China on April 28.
