Today Xiaomi has debuted their new dual camera flagship mobile for Indian market via live streaming event. They’ve named this new arrival as Mi A1. It’s the rebranded variant of Mi 5X that was launched in China on August 2017. First time Xiaomi has partnered with Google and launched this Mi A1 under android one series, it sounds great.

Lets take a look at the specs of this awesome smartphone. Xiaomi A1 features 5.5-inch Full HD display that has been covered with corning gorilla glass. It pre-installed with android 7.1 nougat os and uses Pure Android UI (instead of custom MI UI). It will also receive android 8.0 oreo update before the end of this year. Coming to performance, they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and octa core processor which clocks at 2 GHz.

Memory options are 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It houses hybrid dual slot so you can use eith sim1 + sim2 or sim1 + microSD card. This flagship mobile has dual camera lens at back 12MP + 12MP that includes Bokeh mode, PDAF sensor, RGB & Monochrome colors, 2x optical zoom and more. Coming to front, it equipped with 5MP selfie camera that can capture better selfies.

Other preloaded features are fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, Wifi (dual band), Bluetooth, Type-C USB, 4G LTE and more. It also has decent battery 3080 mAh and can backup for long time with the help of Qualcomm and stock android. It comes in three optional colors black, gold and rose gold.

Xiaomi also reveals the price and exact release date of this device for India. From September 12 (12 PM) it will go for sale in India for Rs. 14,999.
