Xiaomi Mi A2 users who signed up for beta program are started to receive Android 9.0 Pie beta update. This Android One handset was first released by Xiaomi on July 2018 and it’s one of the best selling smartphone. The beta roll out ahs been confirmed by the users who posted the screenshots on Mi official forum. According to that, the latest beta build carries android pie features and also updates the android security patch level to November 5, 2018.
Xiaomi has also intimated the pre-release or beta version may include bugs and unstable, these issues will be fixed on next update. The existing beta members can download this android pie beta update as OTA from Settings > About phone. Optionally you can download the Android Pie beta ROM from the third party forums and flash it on your device.
Android 9 Pie features adaptive brightness, adaptive brightness, new gesture navigation, design tweaks on notification panel, Digital wellbeing, machine learning technology, app timer and so on. Soon the manufacturer will release the Android Pie stable version, after the success of beta build.
