Xiaomi silently announces next generation of Mi Pad tablet for China. The successor model has named as Mi Pad 3. The manufacturer also reveals the launch price of this thinnest tablet. It will be available in China for 1499 CNY (14,140 INR/ $217 USD). Unfortunately the company didn’t announce the first sale for China. But Xiaomi may roll out this tablet before the April end. The available color option is gold.
The Mi Pad 3 features 7.9-inch Retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution, full metal body design and WiFi connectivity. It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os with MIUI 8 custom user interface. This tablet has light weight metal body (328g) and slim design (6.95 mm). Talking about performance it equipped with Mediatek MT8176 chipset, 2.1 GHz hexa core (6-core) processor and 4GB (LPDDR3) RAM. The onboard storage is 64GB and doesn’t have microSD card slot.
The tablet includes 13MP main camera and 5MP front camera. Both cameras didn’t have LED flash light support. Other features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, Bluetooth HID, WiFi Display, Type-C USB and more. The battery power is 6600 mAh (actual 6400 mAh) which can offers 12 hrs of video playback.
