Xiaomi has planned to roll out the Android Oreo Beta Program for Mi A1 (Android One) handset. This information has been confirmed by Xiaomi on its official forum. They’re searching for beta testers, so interested users can register for the Oreo beta test program. The beta registration will end on December 11. The screenshot reveals, the android oreo will update the android version 8.0 and also installs the December month security patch. Xiaomi will start to push the stable version of Android Oreo from December end. To participate in this program you need to download and install MIUI Forum app from play store. The registration process will ask for IMEI number and country of the user.

Once successfully registered, the participant will receive the Oreo beta update via OTA. Suppose if you have entered wrong credentials the OTA update will not arrive for your device. Some of the highlighted features in Android Oreo are Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, faster boot time, notification dots, android instant apps and more.
