Just a hour before Xiaomi has introduced Redmi Note 4 successor smartphone for Indian market through a live event. But the Mediatek powered redmi note 4 was already launched in China on August 2016. For India the company refreshed the chipset to Qualcomm Snapdragon and also upgraded RAM and storage options. Other hardware features and design are similar for both variants.

In India redmi note 4 will launch as flipkart exclusive. The handset arrives in three variants 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The launch price of 2GB/32GB and 3GB/32GB models are Rs.9,999 and Rs.10,999. The high-end model 4GB + 64GB will launch for Rs.12,999. The available colors are black, dark grey and gold. The first sale will go in India on January 23 at 12.00 PM.

The redmi note 4 features 5.5-inch FHD (1080p) display, 2.5D curved glass protection, hybrid dual sim slot, android 6.0 marshmallow os and MIUI 8. The Indian version equipped with qualcomm snapdragon 625 chipset and 2GHz octa core processor. It supports 128GB of expandable microSD slot for that the users need to swap the second sim slot.

It has 13MP back camera with PDAF, Sony sensor, Samsung Sensor, 1.12 micron pixel and more features. At front you can see 5MP camera which can deliver better selfies. Other preloaded features are fingerprint sensor, infrared (remote control), Wifi, bluetooth 4.1, GPS and more. The major highlight is it comes with 4000 mAh battery and feature quick charging technology.
