Xiaomi has unveiled budget handset in India under Redmi Note series which named as Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime. They also notified that it will be second smartphone which manufactured in India. The first Indian made smartphone Redmi 2 Prime was launched in August 2015. The amazon and Mi.com will exclusively sell this smartphone in India. It will go on sale in india from December 15 at 10am IST. The launch price of this handset is Rs. 8500.

The redmi note prime has 5.5-inch HD IPS display, dual sim, 4G/LTE network, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset and 2GB RAM. It runs on android 4.4 kitkat os with updated MI UI 7. The user can store more files with 16GB internal storage and 32GB expandable storage. It comes with 13MP back camera (led flash) and 5MP selfie camera. It has 3100 mAh battery with 14 hrs of browsing and 60 hrs music playback time. It will be available only in white color.
