In February 2015, ZTE mobiles exclusively launched a new smartphone Blade S6 Lux for China. But now this handset has been renamed and globally rolled out as ZTE Blade S6 Plus via online retailer. Except display resolution both blade s6 lux and blade s6 plus has similar hardware features. The blade s6 plus sports HD (720x1280) display where s6 lux has full HD display. The handset will go sales globally via ebay retailer for $269.99 or 16800 INR.

The handset has 5.5-inch HD display which uses JDI In-Cell technology for better image quality. It runs on android 5.0 lollipop os with MiFavor UI 3.0, qualcomm 615 chipset and octa core processor. The handset has 16 GB internal memory, 2GB RAM and expandable microSD card slot. The device comes with 13 Megapixel back camera and 5 Megapixel selfie camera. The camera features dual led flash, sony IMX214 sensor, 1080p video recording, panorama shot and more. It includes the following connectivity features WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G/LTE, Micro USB and GPS. It equipped with non-removable battery 3000 mAh for better usage time.
