Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Moto X Play now available

Motorola Moto X Play users now receiving the Android 6.0.1 marshmallow update for their handsets. This update is now currently rolled out to India and Canada. The download file size of this software update is 387.4 MB. To download this large file the users need to connect their handset uninterrupted wifi or mobile network connection.

The new software update will come with latest security patch update for march, Unicode 8.0 Emoji support, double tap power button to launch camera, camera shutter tone on/off feature, performance improvements and bug fixes.  

The user can check for update manually from the Settings Menu. If the update is already available for your handset then download and install the latest firmware on your device. Once the update completed the installation the user can verify the version from Settings > About Phone. The android security patch and android version will be updated to March 1 and Android 6.0.1.
