Android 8.0 oreo update released for Asus Zenfone 4 Pro

Not bad, Asus has started to push Android 8.0 Oreo update for Zenfone 4 Pro mobile in U.S. This handset was first debuted in August 2017 and went for sale in U.S on October 2017. Asus has officially confirmed this firmware roll out through Zentalk forums. They’ve also revealed the changelog of this oreo update on this thread.

As per the report, the android oreo for zenfone 4 pro arrives with new software version V15.0410.1802.34. Apart from regular oreo features, Asus has also done some enhancements on this device. We’ve listed the release notes of Zenfone 4 Pro below:

• Android version of this device will be updated to 8.0

• Optimization related to the power consumption

• Enables the Long screenshot support

• It substitutes the PlayTo option with Cast function

• User friendly Settings UI design

• Major changes has done in launcher app. After installing the update swipe up all apps to see the new changes

Other popular oreo features are picture-in-picture mode, smart text selection, notification dots, auto fill, instant apps, background activity limits, new emoji icons and more. The manufacturer has affirmed that they will roll out this software update via FOTA. They didn’t specify the exact download size, but the os update will not be less than 0.5GB.
