Archos announces 55 Diamond Selfie with fingerprint sensor

Ahead of IFA 2016 event, Archos begins to announce its wide range of android smartphones. Today they have unveiled two mobiles in Diamond series – 55 Diamond Selfie and 55 Diamond Selfie Lite. Well the company will also show case these handsets this week at IFA event. The 55 diamond selfie device will release on September 2016 for £199.99 pounds. The lite model will launch in October 2016 for £179.99 pounds.

The 55 diamond selfie has 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1080p) resolution. Both handset features android 6.0 marshmallow os, qualcomm snapdragon 430 chipset and 1.4 GHz octa core processor. The 55 diamond selfie equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory while the lite model equipped with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Both variants have microSD card support.

It has 16MP main camera with Chroma flash and 8MP selfie camera with screen flash. Other connectivity features are fingerprint sensor, OTG, wifi, bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, DLNA and more. It sports 3000 mAh (built-in) battery with 12 hrs of talk time and 300 hrs of standby time.
