BlackBerry DTEK50 Android goes official and up for preorder

BlackBerry has unveiled their second android smartphone which named as DTEK50. They have also said this will be world’s most secured android smartphone. The first android mobile BB Priv was launched on last year November 2016. Unlike its predecessor they have launched this smartphone under $300 price range. This secured android mobile includes rapid security patching, hardware root of trust, secure boot process, android os hardening, FIPS 140-2 compliant full disk encryption and BlackBerry DTEK monitoring app.

The users can now preorder the handset through official shop.blackberry.com site. The preorder is now open for the following countries U.S, UK, Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands and Spain. The preorder price of BB DTEK50 is $299 (Rs. 20,090). The company will begin to ship the device for preordered users from August 8. If you preorder this handset you will get free BlackBerry Mobile Power Charger (power bank) 12600 mAh.

The DTEK50 has 5.2-inch Full HD display with scratch resistant protection. It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os, qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset and octa core processor. It equipped with 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and an expandable microSD slot (up to 2TB). It comes with 13MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera. The camera features PDAF sensor, 1080p video capture, 84 degree wide selfie lens, low light mode and more.

Other features are NFC, bluetooth 4.2, wifi (dual band), GPS, 4G LTE, blackberry pre-installed apps and more. It can also support wireless carrier networks of USA. It comes with 2610 mAh battery which offers 17 hrs of mixed usage. It also feature qualcomm quick charge 2.0 to fast charge the battery.
