Kyocera DuraForce Pro on Verizon getting new software update

Verizon powered Kyocera DuraForce Pro mobile begins to receive a software update in USA. The latest update comes with software version 3.112VZ. The update carries bug fixes, performance optimizations and android security patches for this device. The carrier now rolling out this firmware through regular OTA update and requires wifi or cellular data to download. They’ve also updated the changelog at software update page of this device.

List of bugs that will be fixed by this update:

• It fixes the voice call issue, now the user can hear the voice once attends the call. Earlier they will hear the voice after a brief moment of time.

• Previously the weather and time on Weather widget was not displayed. They have fixed this bug now it shows the weather and time properly.

• The user can now send Group multimedia messages as ‘To’ via native messaging app. Before this update it was sent as ‘CC’ for multiple contacts.

Here are the list of optimizations and enhancements:

• Fine tuned SD card detection and improves compatibility with other SD cards.

• Now it will receive notifications if you’re in HD voice or video call.

• New Hotspot icon added it will displayed if you’re in HD voice call.

• It will also apply the latest android security patch.
