LG Q8 listed at official site and specs revealed

Recently LG has unveiled new range of smartphones in its new Q series. Today they have added another mobile in this lineup that named as LG Q8. Without any official press event the company has launched this smartphone. Currently this device has been listed at LG Italy official site. LG Q8 is the downgraded version of LG V20 which was launched in 2016 for Japan.

Unlike other Q series mobiles (that sports 18:9 ratio rounded display edges), the newly listed Q8 device houses 2K display and also has secondary display at top. Unfortunately the company didn’t disclose the exact release date but the launch price will be 599.90 GBP ($780 USD). Rumors suggest LG scheduled to roll out this handset from July end.

LG Q8 features 5.2-inch 2K display, secondary display (160 x 1040 pixels) located at top, covered with 4th gen corning gorilla glass, runs on android 7.0 nougat os, 4GB RAM, 32GB phone storage with UFS technology and an expandable microSD card support. Like V20 it also uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 2.15 GHz quad core processor.

It has dual back camera lens 13MP + 5MP that includes 4K video recording, OIS sensor, Square camera mode and more features. There’s also a 5MP front facing camera for selfie shots. Other features are WiFi, NFC, Infrared, Fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.2, IP67 water & dust resistant, Quad DAC audio, Type-C USB and more. Coming to power, it packed with 3000 mAh removable battery that support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The available color option is Titan.
