LG V10 now gets security update on T-Mobile

T-Mobile carrier has rolled out software update to LG V10 handset users. This firmware is mandatory which will update the android version to 6.0.1. It also brings new software version H90120j, google security improvements and software stability features. The software update will be available to download from August 8 to August 28. The eligible V10 handsets will receive this security update through OTA. If your device is having H90120e and H90110c software versions then you will get the update notification.

The update size is large 459MB so connect your device to wifi and manage 50% or above battery percent to avoid disconnection. The OTA update takes some time to reach your device. If you can’t wait check it manually from Settings > About Phone > Update Center > System Update > Check for update. If you got the alert for the update then download and begin the installation.
