Mi Mix phablet with bezel-less design announced

Today Xiaomi has unveiled frame-less or bezel-less design phablet smartphone which named as Mi Mix. They have announced this handset at a live event in China along with Mi Note 2. This phablet has full ceramic body, ultrasonic distance sensor and cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system invisible earpiece. The front-end has border-less display with curved edges and 91.3% screen ratio.

Xiaomi is now taking the preorders for this mobile in China via official site. The handset will be available in two models 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB. The 4GB variant is standard model which will launch for 3499 yuan ($516 USD). The 6GB model is exclusive edition which coated with 18K carat gold on fingerprint key, frame and back camera. This exclusive edition will be available for 3999 yuan ($590 USD). The official roll out of this flagship phablet in China is November 4.

The mi mix phablet features 6.4-inch display with 2040x1080 pixels screen resolution. The display size is similar to Mi Max which was released on May 2016. It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os (MIUI 8) qualcomm snapdragon 821 chipset and 2.35 GHz quad core processor. It comes in two variants 4GB/6GB and 128GB/256GB. Both model uses UFS 2.0 storage technology for fast transfer speed. The camera options are 16MP at back and 5MP at front.

The camera preloaded with PDAF sensor, 4K video recording, auto HDR, f2.0 aperture, slow motion video and more features. The phablet includes fingerprint sensor, wifi (dual band), Type-C USB, dual sim slot, 4G Lte with 3xCA, Bluetooth 4.2 and more connectivity features. The phablet has 4400 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 technology which will charge 20% faster than regular method. With this phablet the user will also get hand-made pure leather back case which will be included in the retail box.
