Along with Moto G4 and G4 Play, Lenovo has announced another mid-range smartphone in Moto G series named as Moto G Play (Moto G4 Play). It is the downgraded version of moto g4 which will launch for budget price. The design of this handset is similar to moto g4 and g4 plus handsets. Motorola also reveals they will roll out this budget mobile in Mid-Summer 2016 for USA. They didn’t reveal the global launch of this handset. We can expect the company may launch this handset below Rs. 10,000 price range.
The moto g play has 5-inch HD (720p) downgraded display, android 6.0.1 marshmallow os, 1.2GHz quad core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset. The RAM and storage options of G Play model is 2GB RAM and 16GB. There is also microSD card slot which can be expandable up to 128GB. Unlike moto g4, it comes with 8MP back camera and 5MP selfie camera. The camera includes 1080p video recording, auto HDR, burst mode, display flash for selfie images, f2.2 aperture and more features.
The handset also has water repellent coating to prevent the display from rain drops. The preloaded connectivity features are wifi, bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE (Cat 4), GPS, dual sim slot and more. It has built-in battery 2800 mAh with fast charging support (via 10W rapid charger). It will be available in black and white color options.
