OnePlus 3/3T are now getting August security patch update

OnePlus mobile is now rolling out new Oxygen OS based software update for OnePlus 3 and 3T users. It will arrive as Oxygen OS 4.1.7 version for both handsets. This firmware bundle includes several improvements and bug fixes. It will also update the android security patch of these devices to August month. The company has updated the detailed release notes on their forums.

The lists of improvements that included in this firmware update are – Bluetooth enhancements, tweaks in system fluidity and battery optimizations.

Following are the lists of bugs that have been fixed by this update:

• Fixed the sound channel issue on video recording

• Fixed App locker issue that was disturbed by the third party apps

• Unexpected call routing to speaker has been fixed

• Fixed the issue related to Screen-off gesture on making phone call

• Indian Kannada language rendering issue has been fixed

• Hangout app will be removed if you didn’t update it for long time

OnePlus will push this stable version update through regular OTA. At first it will be available for small number of users and then it will be expanded to more users. If you face any issue within this new update you can share your feedback on forums.
