OnePlus 3 now receiving Android 7.0 Nougat Open Beta update

OnePlus officially released Android 7.0 Nougat (Oxygen OS) Open Beta 8 update for OnePlus 3 smartphones. Interested users can participate into this open beta 8 program by downloading this new software. OnePlus will not push this OxygenOS Beta (Nougat) update through OTA. You need to download it from their forum. The company posted the new features and known issues on their forum page. The users can also share bugs, feedbacks and other enhancements.

After updating your handset to Android Nougat you can’t return or downgrade your OS version to Android Marshmallow directly. You need to contact OnePlus customer service team to get the Android M special build and revert your device to marshmallow os. The firmware update also has some bugs like android pay, stability and performance issues.
