Samsung S6 Edge+ getting October update in Europe

Samsung begins to push the October security patch update for its Galaxy S6 Edge+ handset. The company has released this update at the last day of October. This security update is now live in Europe for unbranded model. The third party has shared the screenshot of this firmware update. The new software will update the android security patch to 1 October 2016.

It also bumps the android and baseband version to 6.0.1 and G928XXU3BPJ3. This update fixes the problems on Samsung devices like common vulnerabilities (68), 7 patches, exposures and other bugs. The manufacturer didn’t specify the global roll out of this update. Well the galaxy s6 edge+ users from Europe will get this security update through regular OTA. It will be available on phase basis so just wait for your turn to get this update. If the users didn’t get the update notification then check it for manually from Settings > About Device > Download Update Manually.
