Sony Xperia X now getting Nougat 7.1.1 update

Sony mobile concept team has released android 7.1.1 nougat update for Xperia X smartphone. After Google Pixel series smartphone Sony will be the first manufacturer that releasing the latest nougat os version. This update is now available only for Xperia X users who participated in concept software program. The software update carries new version 38.3.A.0.41 and build number NMF26F8. The firmware download size will be 338.7MB.

The new software update includes December 1st security patch, added restart & screenshot option in power off menu, PS4 remote play compatibility and optimized camera startup time. For now they didn’t enabled DualShock support for this device. Sony will push this Nougat 7.1.1 update through OTA who already running the Experimental update track. After installing the update you can check the android version that will be updated to 7.1.1. We can also expect the stable Nougat update for Xperia X and other handsets soon.
