T-Mobile BlackBerry Priv gets Marshmallow update

After a long time the marshmallow update finally hits T-Mobile version of Blackberry Priv android smartphone. This software update has been officially confirmed by the tmobile Blackberry Priv support page. This firmware update will be in live for tmobile users from June 13 – June 17. Within this period the priv handset users will receive OTA update automatically. The new update will bring the build number AAF153 and android 6.0.1 os version.

The support page notifies the users to maintain the free storage space up to 1.6GB and battery life above 50%. Because the marshmallow update file size will be in 1.3GB, so it may take time to download and install the firmware.

The carrier will send the official alert to Priv users about the marshmallow OTA update. Once the notification has reached your device initiate the installation process. Still your device didn’t receive the update check for manual method by Settings > About phone > Software updates > check for updates. If the update is available with manual method download it or wait for the official notification.
